At Climate Impact, we are practitioners with deep experience in standing up green banks and advising the building decarbonization finance sector. We bring a depth and breadth of experience at every stage of the green bank development, from concept development to capital-raising to implementation and day-to-day operations. As practitioners who have worked in the public, private, advocacy, and actual green bank roles, Climate Impact brings a grounded approach to clients that is earned and validated.

Our Clients

MassHousing

Climate Impact is currently advising MassHousing on the launch of the Massachusetts Community Climate Bank (MCCB), the nation’s first green bank dedicated to affordable housing. We have also been advising MassHousing / MCCB on strategies for the $27 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, an Inflation Reduction Act program central to President Biden’s Investing in America agenda and environmental justice goals.

Inclusive Prosperity Capital (IPC)

For three years, Climate Impact has worked with IPC to develop community-based, green building resources in Buffalo, NY. In partnership with PUSH Buffalo and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Climate Impact is currently leading IPC's efforts to launch the Western NY Regional Clean Energy Hub. Climate Impact also supported IPC on its application to the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund’s Solar for All application.

Cadence OneFive

Climate Impact has been advising Cadence OneFive on its national growth plans, with a focus on the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund opportunities.

The Kresge Foundation

In partnership with the Clean & Equitable Buildings Deployment Collaborative, Climate Impact is funded by the Kresge Foundation to support the national build-out of mission-driven, non-profit technical assistance providers, in order to ensure the equitable and efficient investment of Greenhouse Gas Reduction Funds.

MassCEC

Climate Impact led an engagement over 2021-2022 with MassCEC, City of Boston, and Boston Green Ribbon Commission, to develop a business plan for the Massachusetts Climate Bank, leading to Governor Maura Healey announcing in June, 2023, the launch of the Massachusetts Community Climate Bank within MassHousing.

Boston Green Ribbon Commission

With a grant from the Bank of America Foundation, the Boston Green Ribbon Commission supported Climate Advisors’ engagement to develop a business plan for the Massachusetts Climate Bank. Climate Impact’s team regularly presented findings to a steering committee of leading industry experts, convened by the Boston Green Ribbon Commission.

City of Boston

The City of Boston was part of the client team, with MassCEC and Boston Green Ribbon Commission, that Climate Impact advised over 2021-2022 to develop a business plan for the Massachusetts Climate Bank. 

Natural Resources Defense Council

In partnership with the City of Los Angeles and the American Cities Climate Challenge, Climate Impact conducted a market assessment of best practices for building resource hubs across the US. Climate Impact presented recommendations to Los Angeles and NRDC for launching a building resource hub to serve underresourced building owners.

Bayview PACE

Climate Impact Advisors developed marketing materials for Bayview PACE to promote its PACE financial offerings in new markets across the US.
